KENAL ("we", "our", "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use KENAL:
- Account information: Name, email address, gender, date of birth, and birth time (optional)
- Google Sign-In data: Name and email address from your Google account (if you choose to sign in with Google)
- Individual records: Names, dates of birth, and gender of individuals you save in the app
- Test results: Personality test results stored locally on your device
2. How We Use Your Information
- Calculate numerology profiles and elemental analysis based on birth dates
- Store individual records and groups for your personal reference
- Provide career guidance and life phase insights
- Send birthday reminders (if enabled by you)
- Account verification and email communication
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored in two locations:
- On your device: Test results, calculation cache, and preferences are stored locally using SQLite
- Cloud (Supabase): User profiles, individual records, and groups are stored on secure cloud servers in the Southeast Asia region
4. Data Sharing
We do NOT sell, share, or transfer your personal information to any third parties. Your data is used solely for the functionality of the KENAL app.
5. Security
We implement reasonable security measures including:
- Secure authentication via Supabase Auth
- Encrypted HTTPS connections
- Row Level Security (RLS) ensuring you can only access your own data
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access and update your personal information through the Profile screen
- Permanently delete your account and all associated data using the "Delete Account" option in the app
- Request a copy of your data by contacting us
7. Children
KENAL is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app.
